The best teachers don't show you how to follow the path...they teach you how to create a path of your own.

WHAT'S The BUZZ...
Hello Parents, I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My name is Mrs. Trianosky and some of you know me, as Mrs. T. I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and have spent the past 25 years in this field, in a variety of different areas, teaching, directing a childcare facility and subbing. I have two sons ages 20 and 15. My older son loves to fish, kayak, boat, and be outdoors loving nature. My younger son plays baseball and basketball year round. I would not trade being part of all of their activities for the world! We are so fortunate to have Ms. Amanda Norcini with us in the classroom. Amanda is a very familiar face here at OLA. I am sure many of you will recognize her. She is a true gem who loves the children and I could not do this without her. You can see her love of the kiddos each and everyday in the classroom.

We have been so busy in class. My kiddos have settled in to a routine and are coming along. We finished a fun week of learning that the season of fall is slow to want to arrive. We took a nature walk to hunt for leaves, only to discover they really don't want to change yet. We had our first prayer service and , surprisingly did not have too many tears. Oh and very excited to say we actually all stayed in the pews, for the most part. We had our first fire drill on a Thursday, so that was a really nice way to ease in to what happens during a fire drill, with my small group. No worries... there will be plenty more to come, throughout the year. We will also have a visit from Radnor Fire Co. The children will get to see the firemen in their full gear and explore the firetruck! We will touch base on fire safety with simple concepts of what is safe to play with and what is not. We will make some memories of how to stop, drop and roll so the children know what to do in the event of smoke. This is always a fun month and we make so many great memories doing all the activities that come with October. We will have a Living Rosary to the Blessed Mother on Friday, October 27 at 9:30. We will have Trunk or Treat on MONDAY OCTOBER 30. MORE INFO TO FOLLOW from homeroom Moms. They will need the entire class to send items in for this event. Our class celebration for Halloween will take place after and will be a class event only. This years class is very big and we do have some children that really do not understand why their parents can not be there so to make it easier for ALL of us...Amanda and I will handle the celebration. I will update our class page monthly however any last minute class news will go out in emails! I thank you all for the opportunity to spend my days with your kiddos. Thanks for all you do.
